Yaacov is a first-year student at UCLA, studying Political Science and Human Biology and Society. Although he grew up in the Los Angeles Modern Orthodox community, Yaacov, like all descendants of the ancient Judean people, is indigenous to the land of Israel. He spent last year studying in Yeshivat Orayta in Jerusalem, where he finally figured out what Judaism is. In his free time, Yaacov likes to read almost anything, listen to music about sheltered upper-middle class Jewish kids, and write about himself in the third person.
