Alexandra Marvizi is a third-year history major emphasizing her studies on the history of the Near East. Her ardent passion for writing, Israel, and everything Jewish prompted her to join the Ha’Am team as the newly appointed marketing manager, social-media intern and staff writer. Alexandra hopes to broaden Ha’Am’s audience to the Sephardic and Mizrahi communities, while adding some Persian charm to the weekly staff meetings. When Alexandra isn’t planning her next trip to the Holy Land or Yelping the hottest falafel joints in town, you can usually find her outdoors, running and hiking, or catching up on the sleep she hasn’t had since beginning UCLA.
