Burgers, football, and Torah — an unlikely combination which came together on Monday, Jan. 6 under the auspices of the Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus and the Westwood Bayit. Students gathered to watch the Bowl Championship Series title bowl game, dine on BBQ, and discuss the Torah’s perspective on wasting time or “dereliction,” with study session led by Ha’Am’s own Yona Remer (with assistance from second-year student Yael Glouberman).
