Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Week No. 5.
One, two, three, four, five
Everybody’s in Powell, so you know it’s time
To renounce all the fun and joy we once had
Eating food at the Hill cafés to save time
Can’t believe this is the life for undergrads
“I’ll start studying,” I said last week
But YouTube binging, my self-control’s weak
Used to like Anthro, Chem, Hebrew, and Theater
But as the week’s approaching, I’m praying for Mashiach
So which to study first? I really don’t know what’s worse
For me to study, I need to be forced
Any grade is good, I’m not here for my rank
Good luck getting to the test bank.
A little bit of Red Bull in my life
A little bit of coffee on the side
A whole lotta miracles is what I need
Waiting for Shabbat to finalize this week
I’ve forgot the last time that I’ve seen the sun
Back-to-back midterms are no fun
End of this week will be total bliss
1st question on the test: “When did I learn this?!”
Week No. 5!
Look up and down and start looking all around
No one’s making a sound
Not one smile’s to be found
Netflix now? And study tonight?
Doing everything to keep your notes outta sight
Droop your eyes once, and droop your eyes twice
And if you look exhausted then it’s fifth week all right!
A little bit of Monster in my life
Pulling an all-nighter every night
A little longer nap is all I need
A whole week to study ain’t enough for me
I’ve forgot the last time that I’ve seen the sun
Back-to-back midterms are no fun
End of this week will be total bliss
1st question on the test: “When did I learn this?!”
Week No. 5!
A little bit of Red Bull in my life
A little bit of coffee on the side
A whole lotta miracles is what I need
A whole week to study ain’t enough for me
I’ve forgot the last time that I’ve seen the sun
Back-to-back midterms are no fun
End of this week will be total bliss
First question on the test: “When did I learn this?!”
Try to do all you can do
While South Campus waits for round two
Midterms now, and finals in five
But trust yourself, you will survive!
Week No. 5!
Original: Mambo No. 5 by Lou Bega:
Ladies and gentleman this is Mambo no 5
One, two, three, four, five everybody in the car, so come on
Let’s ride to the liquor store around the corner
The boys say they want some gin and juice
But I really don’t wanna, beer bust like I had last week
I must stay deep because talk is cheap
I like Angela, Pamela, Sandra and Rita
And as I continue you know they are getting sweeter
So what can I do I really beg you my Lord
To me is flirting it’s just like sport, anything fly
It’s all good let me dump it please set in the trumpet
A little bit of Monica in my life, a little bit of Erica by my side
A little bit of Rita is all I need, a little bit of Tina is what I see
A little bit of Sandra in the sun, a little bit of Mary all night long
A little bit of Jessica here I am, a little bit of you makes me your man
Mambo no 5
Jump up and down and move it all around
Shake your head to the sound, put your hand on the ground
Take one step left and one step right
One to the front and one to the side
Clap your hand once and clap your hands twice
And if it looks like this then you are doing it right
A little bit of Monica in my life, a little bit of Erica by my side
A little bit of Rita is all I need, a little bit of Tina is what I see
A little bit of Sandra in the sun, a little bit of Mary all night long
A little bit of Jessica here I am, a little bit of you makes me your man
Trumpet, the trumpet
Mambo no 5
A little bit of Monica in my life, a little bit of Erica by my side
A little bit of Rita is all I need, a little bit of Tina is what I see
A little bit of Sandra in the sun, a little bit of Mary all night long
A little bit of Jessica here I am, a little bit of you makes me your man
I do all to, fall in love with a girl like you
You can’t run and you can’t hide
You and me gonna touch the sky
Mambo no 5
