Ha’Am Newsmagazine is proud to announce our latest initiative, Kol Ha’Am, UCLA’s brand new Arts and Literary Magazine.
Kol Ha’Am, literally meaning “voice of the people” in Hebrew, is dedicated to showcasing Jewish creators and to exploring the Jewish experience on campus through art. We strive to spark meaningful dialogue through the spread of diverse ideas and creative works.
We are excited for the opportunity to generate a new platform for all members and friends of the Jewish community at UCLA to share their voice, stories and passions.
Our first issue will be published in print during the first week of spring quarter.
Submissions for publication are due on Feb. 14th and are open to all members of the community. We’re seeking short stories, poetry, art, recipes, photography and more! We highly encourage you to submit your creative works for publication in our Spring 2018 issue. We are offering $100, $75 and swag for.the first second and third prizes respectively. All submitters receive a free Ha’Am mug.
