Ellie is a first-year student majoring in Physiological Science. She comes from a Russian household, and to further indulge in her heritage, she loves re-watching Russian cartoons and eating as much blinchiki and borsch as possible. When Ellie isn't fervently learning the lyrics to the newest rap single, she enjoys hiking, hanging out with her friends and family, reciting the whole script of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," and making song parodies to popular songs. Although she is still waiting for her Hogwarts letter to arrive, she is very excited to join the Ha'Am staff this year and can't wait to be part of such a creative aspect of Jewish life on campus!
